  11.     This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk
  12.     Vendors, Computer Clubs, and other individuals who wish to distribute 
  13.     the XFile 1.5 program package.   Individual USERS do not need to read
  14.     the information in this file.

  17.     Limited Distribution License:

  19.         As the exclusive copyright holder for XFile, Phase 33 Digital, Inc.
  20.     authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following
  21.     restrictions.

  23.     The following files comprise the complete END USER XFile Version
  24.     1.5 package:

  26.         README.TXT............instructions and package overview
  27.         REGISTER.TXT................shareware registration form
  28.         XFILE.TXT..................the XFile application manual
  29.             XFILE.EXE.......................the application program
  30.  
  31.     The above files should not be modified in any way and must be dis-
  32.     tributed as a complete package.  Distributors may add introductory
  33.     or installation batch files if desired.  Archives of the XFile package
  34.     should retain the name XFILE followed by the archive extension
  35.     name (e.g. XFILE.ZIP).

  37.     No price or other compensation may be charged for the XFile package.
  38.     However, a distribution fee covering the cost of materials, handling,
  39.     and processing may be charged.

  45.     Program Requirements:

  47.     XFile requires Windows version 3.1 or higher to run.  A mouse
  48.     or other pointing device is also highly advised.

  50.     Program Installation:
  51.  
  52.         While the XFILE application can be run from a floppy disk, it is
  53.     highly advisable to copy the package files to any convenient
  54.     location on the hard drive.

  56.     To uninstall, simply delete the program files listed above as
  57.     well as XFILE.INI  (created in the default Windows directory).

  61.         Multifunctional desktop utility for the Windows 3.1 environment.

  65.     XFile is multifunctional desktop utility designed for the Windows
  66.     3.1 environment.  The program functions only as a desktop icon 
  67.     set to one of its various operating "modes".
  68.           Program modes supported include "drag and drop" file functions
  69.     (including file/directory delete, renaming, and attribute alteration),
  70.     system resource monitor, free memory monitor, clock, and date
  71.     display.
  72.       Also included are a multi-drive file finder, program launcher, 
  73.     multiple alarms (with optional messages), and timed program execution.
  74.     XFile also provides basic information about the user's system.
  75.        XFile makes NO changes to any of the user's system or configuration
  76.     files.
